Aloha from Waikane Store established in 1898! Here at Waikane Store this is one of our two most in demand items. Our makizushi also known here in Hawaii as maki sushi, has its roots in our very own Haruko Tsutsui also affectionately known as "Mamma San" who was raised in Yamaguchi Japan, is rolled utilizing premium products. We use the highest quality of nori which is the equivalent to bread to a sandwich and the highest quality of secretly seasoned vinegared rice, canned tuna, carrots and eggs. Our valued customers who chose our style of sushi appreciate that ours tends to have a stronger flavor than your conventional sushi roll. We hope for you to be dangerous and give it a shot.
